I bought this item due to the metal construction, figuring it would be good quality and last a long time. The handle is plastic and while it did seem slightly loose when in use, the corer worked extremely well. Shockingly, it wasn’t the plastic components that ended up breaking. What broke was the metal blade completely (and cleanly) came off the metal shaft. The weld must have been minimal for this to happen. Very unhappy with lifespan of this item.

Apr 2025 took tour there got pineapples there and loved them then when we got back home in Missouri we ordered more they are the best will be ordering more !
